Once a Gooner, always a Gooner

So that marks the end of English Premier League 2011/12 season on Sunday and congrats to the champ of EPL 2011/12 season, Rise of the Blue Moon--Manchester City where their title was decided on Sunday against QPR with a tremendous, unexpected finish at injury time, it was superb and luck was on their side.

On the other hand, Arsenal had their last match with a 3-2 victory against West Brom to stay in the top 3 and again a great comeback from the Gunners. It's been a horrible, disastrous, terrible start for the Gunners this season where they lost every game in January, full of ups and downs selling the most influential player and the captain (Fab), had the never-ending injury crisis to the squad, trashed terribly by you-know-who team with a score of 8-2, but they're still be able to fought back against all odds and in the end producing a Golden Boot winner (RVP- he scores when he wants), still manage to finish and climb up to the 3rd spot above arch-rival Tottenham, Chelsea and Liverpool at the end of the season and qualified for the Champions league automatically for the 15th consecutive season.

The very special badge for this season to celebrate their 125th anniversary, so cool rite?

I can admit, as usual their defend was unpredictable but Hell YEA! who cares? This is Arsenal F.C, and I'll always be a gooner no matter what.

Here's some sneak peak on their new home kit for the 2012/13 season. I don't really like it cause the logo is back to their usual logo and the blue stripe at the sleeves looks kinda weird, but overall it's ok.

Not bad huh?
According to Arsenal.com, the blue stripes is inspired by the socks worn in the 1930s when Arsenal were playing under Herbert Chapman. Chapman apparently designed the socks with the intention of maximising player visibility, thinking that the players would find it easier to spot each other in the pitch (more like a bulls-eye thingy).
At the meanwhile, I'll keep my weekend entertained with UEFA and the Olympics 2012 which I'm really looking forward to it, can't wait. As for EPL, I guess all the players need a really good rest and I shall see you guys in August.

Compared to Liverpool and Man U's table cloth, I still think Arsenal home kit is the best lo, at least better looking than the other two D:
